Hello, I’m a sculptor and printmaker based out of Connecticut and Brooklyn.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My work focuses on the interactions and connections people make in their daily lives. This focus is largely influenced by bureaucracy and the need to connect with others on a deeper level. I primarily work with paper and create paperwork and surveys, but recently I have been focused less on paperwork and more on objects that can facilitate the same level of connection. Each installation requires the participant to think about our interactions and connections with others and a level of trust must be present. I heighten daily interactions and the connections made by using paperwork to make participants aware of the micro-connections that exist between themselves and strangers.

However, for my prints I am interested in the materiality of inks and pushing them to their elemental boundaries using monotype, lithography, and relief to explore color theory through shapes and printing materials.
